National Technology is proud to participate in the "African Medical Exhibition and Conference" to showcase its groundbreaking advancements in the digital transformation of the medical field.
This participation aligns with the ongoing collaboration between National Technology and the Egyptian Healthcare Authority, as they work together to enhance medical facilities, implement digital transformation strategies in the healthcare and insurance sectors, and establish a comprehensive patient database linked to the Ministry of Health and all healthcare authorities across the Republic.
The following is part of the results achieved by National Technology under the umbrella of the Health Care Authority in the Universal Health Insurance project:
The project was implemented on a geographical scale of six governorates, which are (Port Said - Ismailia - South Sinai - Luxor - Aswan – Suez)
1. The number of mechanized facilities affiliated with the project (202) medical facilities.
2. The total number of analysis devices automatically connected to the system during this stage (319) analysis devices.
3. The total number of medical tests is 9.9 million.
4. The total number of visits to establishments is 2.9 million.
National Technology continues its efforts in automating the laboratories of the Universal Health Insurance System in the governorates of Egypt, and we are pleased to have completed several stages of the project, which is still under implementation to extend to all Egyptian governorates. The following has been accomplished in Port Said and Luxor governorates:
- Operating LDM system on an integrated network between 7 main hospitals and 34 health units in Port Said, and in 6 main hospitals and 54 health units in Luxor.
- Raising the capacity of the health units of the comprehensive health insurance system in the cities of Port Said and Luxor.
- Training hundreds of medical personnel to use LDM system professionally and to coordinate between the various medical units.
- Digital linkage and integration between laboratory systems, Hospital Information Systems (HIS), and the EMR system.
National Technology continuous efforts have led to improving the speed and quality of results in the health insurance system, as well as improving the economic performance of laboratories and providing accurate statistics for decision makers.
National Technology thanks all the bodies that contributed in completing this national project, which are the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Ministry of Health, and the Universal Health Insurance. We sincerely thank all of them for their great efforts and providing all the required infrastructure and laboratory equipment.
